Planning birthdays for kids can be tricky...
Do they REALLY need to Go to Chucky cheese?...No, a party at home IS just as good.
But what ELSE can we do?
How about:
A trip to the Zoo (Family style! not Party style)
A trip to the City for lunch
a Trip to the country to visit a farm
the list goes on and on!
We took our family (+plus a friend) to the Shedd Aquarium for my daughters 5th birthday...May I say that was the best birthday! We bought the year pass for the family and then went to the Fantasea show...EVERYONE had a blast! (and we had a fit free day!!!)
We plan to have cake at our house on her b-day nothing big though and my DD is ok with that...she knows we will be heading into Chicago again soon...we plan to go back to shedd and go to the Natural history museum..She is thrilled! (as are we!)
